Starting a new job is usually both exciting and a bit nerve-racking. In a world were we have had to learn to work from home (and pretty suddenly at that) and collaborate across teams and locations, it can be difficult to feel like you’re part of the team if you’ve never met properly in person. 

Last year I was actually onboarded remotely in a new role and it was a surprisingly great experience. I did want to share some key tips that I used (and I know this has worked for others too!) if you’d like to make a good first impression and land smoothly in your role and the company.
