Andrew MacAskill really wanted to be a sports journalist when he was a kid, but actually ended up doing a finance degree and working in accounting. In hindsight he knows that he was seeking approval rather than fulfilment when he made that call, but it also opened the door to the world of business and the many career pivots that followed.
